The smaller counterpart to the OMD-C2, the OMD-C1, features two 5.5 inch Poly Titanium Deposit Hybrid woofers with Mirage's patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround and a 4 inch Poly Titanium Deposit Hybrid midrange driver. The midrange driver directs the sound into Mirage’s patented OMNIGUIDE model, which house a 1” PTH tweeter, bringing OMNIPOLAR technology to life. The net result of this fascinating, yet timeless design characteristic is the speaker's ability to reproduce a widened listening area that affords excellent sound quality to all listeners, regardless of where they are seated within the room. While it is based on the same driver complement found in the OMD-15 floorstanding speaker, it offers a tonal character that enables it to perfectly integrate with any combination of OM Design models in multi-channel applications.
